Assumpta Tafari - Fine Artist - Born 1959, USA

The artist feels truly blessed to honor in her work, her ancestors’ history of the Amhara, originally of Shoa, Ethopia. The venerable Ethiopian Orthodox Church (St. Mary’s, LA, CA, USA) has viewed Ms. Tafari’s works of art, advocating her modern contributions as a well as her traditional icons of the church. Her paintings are also widely appreciated internationally by the Rastafarian community. She is deeply inspired through her meditations.
